11/12/18 Update

There will be NO practice on 11/12 due to inclement weather.

For Thursday the following things are due:

  1. Spirit Wear Forms Remember you are not ordering a long sleeve t shirt for your daughter as it will be provided (click on the link to print a form).
  2. BEVC Handbook Both players and parents need to read the handbook as well as sign the last form on the handbook. Click the link above to print a copy for yourself.  You will need to bring the signed paper back to your coach Thursday night at practice.
  3. November Payments: November payments are due Thursday, November 15th. This is $100 for U11 and U12, and $162.50 for U14, U15, U16. If you are unable to be at practice, please email Rachel Hough ( and make other arrangements. 
  4. Uniforms and Numbers: We will be sizing for uniforms on Thursday as well. If you played last year please check your uniform and see if it fits. If it does not please return it Thursday evening. If it does still fit, please remember your number so that we do not duplicate numbers on the same team.

Tryout times:  Monday 10/29 and Thursday 11/1 – (U11-U14 6-7:30) (U15 – U17 7:30 – 9)

Monday tryouts will be open for parents to watch. Thursday tryouts will be CLOSED. If your child cannot make it to a tryout they need to let a coach or admin know.

Notification process: Players will be notified if they made a team or not by Tuesday, November 6th at 8pm. Coaches will call and notify their players and parents.

OKRVA refunds: If your player doesn’t make a team or you decide not to play, you can get a refund from OKRVA. Contact Rachel Hough at for information.

Costs: Cost for U11 – U13 players will be $400 (4 payments of $100 each) and U14 – U17 players will be $650 (4 payments of $162.50 each). You can pay all at once, or pay the payments that will be due 11/8, 12/8, 1/8 , and 2/8, or you can contact Rachel Hough for other payment operations or fill out a scholarship form.FIRST PAYMENT IS DUE 11/8.

Uniforms: Uniforms and warm up shirt are included in costs. Parents are responsible for shoes, knee pads, spandex, and travel.

Parent Meeting: There will be a parent meeting for all players who make a team on November 8th, at 7pm in the Madison Middle School Library.

First Practice will be Thursday, November 8th.

What is the season for competitive volleyball? The season for Eclipse runs November through the first weekend of May. 

How many practices a week are there? Club teams will practice twice a week. Mondays and Thursdays. 

Do we play games every weekend? No. Eclipse teams are competitive tournament teams and they will play anywhere from 5-10 tournaments from January – May (number of tournaments varies from team to team and based on experience). 

How much is all of this going to cost me and where does my money go?  The price varies depending on the age of the team. U11 – U13 the price is $400 (and can be paid in payments) and the price for U14 – U17 is $650 (and can be paid in payments). Scholarships are available, but must be applied for by November 8th.

It’s that time of year again. Tryouts for Bartlesville Eclipse Volleyball Club are just around the corner. You’ve found the place to give you all the information and tools you need to be ready for tryouts. 

When? – BEVC Tryouts will be held Monday, October 29th and Thursday, November 1st at Madison Middle School in the gym (enter through west doors), address is 5900 Baylor Drive, Bartlesville, OK 74006.  

Tryouts for U11 – U14 will be held from 6:00pm – 7:30pm and tryouts for U15 – U17 will be held from 7:30pm – 9:00pm. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to process paperwork and get tryout number.

What Should I Expect? – If this is your first time trying out for the club, it would be best if you attend a purely informational meeting on Thursday, October 25th at 7pm in the Library at Madison Middle School. We will be able to answer your questions as well as help you get all of your forms and registrations filled out. It will help the first night of tryouts go more smoothly. 

What Should I Bring to Tryouts?

Once a player makes the team, there are other costs involved. These will be discussed at the informational meeting on October 25th, at the parent/player meeting TBA, and you can also email Rachel Hough at for my information.
